Tennessee football: Ranking NFL careers of six Vols previously drafted by Seahawks
Finally, we go to Tennessee football players actually drafted by the Seattle Seahawks who actually had productive NFL careers. While it was shocking for Larry Seivers and Johnnie Jones to not make it, Randall Morris actually making it as a 10th-round draft pick was even more shocking. However, that’s what he was coming out in 1984.

Morris was the No. 2 option behind Johnnie Jones as a running back in 1983, even though that was supposed to be his season to take over as a starter. He still saw more action than previous seasons and finished with 412 rushing yards and a touchdown to go with 137 receiving yards. To be fair, he was also the lead kickoff returner, and averaged 30 yards a return on 15 returns.
Anyway, after being taken in the 10th round, Morris appeared in 10 games in 1984, even earning two starts. He spent four and a half years as the backup running back and feature kickoff returner for Seattle, then he spent the second half of 1988 with the Detroit Lions in the same role.
For his career, Morris had 156 carries for 651 yards and a touchdown to go along with 15 receptions for 75 yards. He also logged 1,662 kickoff return yards, averaging nearly 20 yards a kickoff return, and he appeared in 64 games over those five years. So he was able to generate enough pro productivity to be up here on this list.
