The former Tennessee football Volunteers head coach put his Knoxville house on the market.

Regardless of what you think about the job Butch Jones did during his five years as Tennessee football head coach, his Knoxville home is life goals for anybody. In fact, even if you feel bad for him, you’ll envy him when you see the way he was able to live.

Over two and a half years since his firing, Jones has put his house in Knoxville on the market. According to Grant Ramey of GoVols247, he stayed at 1945 Oakleigh Way. The house is for sale for just under $3.8 million, nearly seven and a half years after he apparently purchased it.

According to Zillow, the former Tennessee football head coach’s house has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, two of which are half bathrooms. It has nearly 11,500 square feet on over four acres of land.

There is an epic backyard with a pool and a spa to go along with a four-car garage. It was built in 2008, although the land initially sold in 2005 for less than $430,000. You could say that was a heck of an investment.

If you look at the pictures on Zillow, you’ll notice pictures of the Vols and even one of Butch Jones directing the band in the rec room, which is located in the basement. Yes, there is a rec room along with numerous other epic rooms, including a theater room, a card room, a sun room and more.

Given the fact that Jones’ initial buyout included a regular paycheck through February of 2021, he likely has plenty of money in the bank to get another epic house, even if that buyout is mitigated a bit by what he’s currently making with the Alabama Crimson Tide. That money probably is nowhere near enough to offset the $200,000 a month UT owes him until next year.

Combine that with the fact that he’ll make money of selling this house, and Jones is doing fine. Tennessee football appears to be doing fine with his replacement, Jeremy Pruitt, as well. So everybody wins, as will the next person who gets to live in this awesome house.
