Hudson Wolfe is supporting his fellow 2021 Tennessee football Volunteers commitment.

Could this be the future quarterback to tight end passing duo for Tennessee football? With the Elite 11 Finals being played in Murfreesboro, Tenn., an in-state commitment for the Vols decided to show up and support his fellow 2021 commitment.

Hudson Wolfe, a four-star tight end commitment to UT out of Savannah, Tenn., made the two and a half hour trip from Hardin County to witness the final day of the event. Wolfe, who committed to Rocky Top in mid-June, was there to support UT commitment Kaidon Salter.

A three-star dual-threat quarterback on Rivals and a four-star quarterback on 247Sports and 247Sports Composite, Salter committed to Tennessee football back in May. He comes out of Cedar Hill High School and retweeted a photo of himself with Wolfe at the event.

We know what Salter means by big things happening, and the post seems to suggest that these two are helping Jeremy Pruitt secure more elite targets for the Vols. It’s also great for UT fans to see two future teammates already supporting each other.

However, just how connected will they be? Wolfe and Salter are joining a program that is deep at the quarterback and tight end spot for the future. As a result, they will have to overcome some major competition to become a true duo.

To be fair, Wolfe’s status compared to other tight ends on the roster gives him a much better chance than Salter. After all, Salter will have to compete with five-star Harrison Bailey to be the quarterback of the future, and that doesn’t even include all the other guys who will be on the roster at that position next year.

Either way, everybody loves to see future teammates dreaming about what they could be. These two could contribute a lot to Tennessee football in the future, and Wolfe being there to support Salter helps show the type of players Pruitt is luring to Knoxville.
