Brooklynn Miles joined the Tennessee Lady Vols’ elite class under Kellie Harper.

All of a sudden, the Tennessee Lady Vols are building a squad for 2021. On Wednesday evening, Kellie Harper added her fourth top 100 prospect to that class and her third five-star, putting together a group for the ages.

Point guard Brooklynn Miles out of Richmond, Ky. committed to Rocky Top. Standing at 5’6″, Miles is the No. 46 ranked player in the nation and the No. 9 ranked player at her position with a scout grade of 96.

Miles joins five-star guard Kaiya Wynn, five-star forward Karoline Striplin and four-star forward Sara Puckett as part of an elite group heading to Rocky Top for 2021. She announced her commitment to the Tennessee Lady Vols with a video on Twitter.

With the addition of Miles, Harper’s program is one of only three, the other two being the UConn Huskies and South Carolina Gamecocks, to have three five-star commitments or more for 2021. It’s also one of three, joining South Carolina and the West Virginia Mountaineers, to have four top 100 prospects for 2021.

Taking that into account, UT and South Carolina stand tall above everybody else. However, South Carolina does take the cake for right now, as it has four five-stars committed while Rocky Top only has three.

As for Miles specifically, the Lady Vols get a super-athletic point guard, according to ESPN reports. Although there is not much of an objective highlight reel to look at yet, her speed and explosiveness are the story.

This is a big deal for the Tennessee Lady Vols, as they have been relying on combo guards who can score to run the point over the past few years. Miles is a pure point guard and will play as such when she arrives on campus.

With the tall players and elite shooters that will be in the program at that point as well, Harper will clearly be able to run the perfect inside-out game in the future. Miles is the final piece of that puzzle, making her a huge pickup.
