Defeated Georgia Bulldogs 41-24

Once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide are the most dominant team in the SEC. They made the Georgia Bulldogs look against them like what Tennessee football looked against UGA the week before with this dominating performance.

More from All for Tennessee

Nick Saban has a dominant passing attack with Mac Jones, as he threw for over 400 yards against a UGA defense whose biggest strength was in the secondary. Najee Harris and that offensive line bring balance to the offense, and Steve Sarkisian is another offensive mind Saban brought in to keep his star power going in Tuscaloosa.

Obviously, the defense improved dramatically against Georgia after struggling to put away Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels. Given what just happened to Ole Miss, maybe Saban was right. Maybe Kiffin did actually have access to Alabama’s signs.

Either way, the Tide are in great shape at 4-0. They now get to face a reeling Tennessee football team, which should get them to 5-0. In fact, there’s not a ranked team on their schedule the rest of the way, as they don’t have to play the Florida Gators, and they have already played Georgia and the Texas A&M Aggies. The tough part of their schedule is over.

These guys could legitimately coast the rest of the way, similar to what the Clemson Tigers do every year in the ACC. They should have moved up to No. 1 in the nation after last weekend’s play, but they are the clear-cut best team in the SEC.
