Tennessee football: Not playing boosts Vols in Week 11 SEC Power Rankings
Did not play
It seems like the Texas A&M Aggies have been the super-spreader team of the league, causing so many postponements. Their matchup last weekend with Tennessee football was postponed, and now they have this week’s game against the Ole Miss Rebels postponed as well.

Jimbo Fisher’s team was rolling like never before just as these games were postponed. Still, there’s no denying that these guys belong at No. 2 in our SEC Power Rankings. Their only loss is to the one undefeated team, and they beat another one-loss team, the Florida Gators, who beat the Georgia Bulldogs.
As we said, circular logic applies here, and there’s no reason to drop the Aggies just because they haven’t played in two weeks. At this point, they will have to be knocked out of this position, and their future opponents don’t suggest that will happen.
After the postponements, they will face the LSU Tigers and then visit the Auburn Tigers, the latter of which is their toughest test. Then they have their make-up game with the Vols. Assuming they finish second in the West, which is where they are right now, they could them face Ole Miss on Dec. 19 while the SEC Championship takes place.
