Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 1. Linebacker. Sophomore. Henry To'o To'o. player. 839

6’2″ 225 pounds; Hometown: Sacramento, Calif.

Our top player to watch for in Tennessee football’s final regular-season game of 2020 is the player everyone had their eyes on when the season began. He’s the face of the defense and has started every game since he was a true freshman in 2019.

More from All for Tennessee

Henry To’o To’o’s sophomore season has certainly felt different than the freshman All-American campaign he mustered in 2019. However, with back to back solid performances against the Florida Gators and the Vanderbilt Commodores the past two weeks. To’o To’o is poised to close his second year on Rocky Top with some flare.

Two weeks ago, To’o To’o had eight tackles, six of which were solo, and was a huge part of shutting down the Florida Gators’ rushing offense. Sure, he has struggled defending the pass, but he at least rendered Florida one-dimensional.

Against the Commodores, To’o To’o stepped his game up even further, looking like the player he was at the beginning of the season. set a season-high seven solo tackles to go along with three tackle assists and this athletic 31-yard reception from Paxton Brooks on Tennessee football’s fake punt in the second quarter of the 42-17 victory.

We can’t promise Jeremy Pruitt will call on the young inside linebacker to convert on fourth down again this Saturday, but the Aggies will give To’o To’o enough to worry about on the defensive side of the ball. Jimbo Fisher’s group is firing on all cylinders, averaging 429 yards per game and 31 points per contest.

On Saturday, To’o To’o will be responsible for spying Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond, meeting running back Isiah Spiller at the line of scrimmage, and covering tight end Jalen Wydermyer on shallow routes. Needless to say, To’o To’o will be all over the field for Tennessee football this Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
