Tennessee football moves up in Week 15 SEC Power Rankings
Defeated Arkansas Razorbacks 52-3
This is the dullest No. 1 ever, but we all know the Alabama Crimson Tide belong here. They are dominating the league the way they have dominated Tennessee football the past 14 years with Nick Saban at the helm.

Alabama beating the Arkansas Razorbacks so badly did not even force us for a second to question Arkansas. These guys are just that elite in every way, and as the one undefeated team in the SEC, they clearly belong at No. 1 in our SEC Power Rankings. At this point, they may have already punched their College Football Playoff ticket as well regardless of what happens this weekend.
It’s not like the Tide didn’t have stiff competition either. They did beat three of the other top five teams in the league, blowing out the Texas A&M Aggies, Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers. This weekend, they’ll face the final one of those teams in the Florida Gators as the two get set to face off in the SEC Championship game.
Florida’s loss last week throws everything for a loop, as it makes Mac Jones the clear-cut Heisman Trophy favorite, but that could change if he doesn’t perform well on Saturday. Alabama can’t relax just yet. Saban has been pretty good about getting his guys excited to play in the title game, to be fair. They have won the last six SEC title games under him.
At this point, all fans, including Tennessee football fans, are just waiting for Saban to retire in hopes that this dominance ends. Saban has changed with the times and continues to stay elite. Another undefeated regular season proved that.
