The 6’2″ 238-pound receiver returned 35 kickoffs for 1,017 yards and came away with another kickoff return for a touchdown in 2020, the sixth season he had at least one TD and the eight of his career. He also had 21 catches for 132 yards and 64 carries for 232 yards and a touchdown, earning his fourth career Pro Bowl spot as a return specialist.
Patterson already has experience winning a Super Bowl, as he won one with the New England Patriots, and he’s clearly trying to bring that championship mentality to the Bears in his second year there.
Despite the Bears being heavy underdogs, one big return from Patterson could give them a boost on Sunday. Chicago is no stranger to big kickoff returns in the postseason, as Devin Hester gave them one in the Super Bowl 14 years ago. Watch to see if Patterson can do it as well.
