Scouting Report. Albertville, Ala.. 839. Pick Analysis. Tight end/Athlete. Trinity Bell. 2. player

Albertville High School

We’re sticking with guys who have experience playing tight end and defensive end. Trinity Bell committed to Tennessee football as a three-star across the board and is listed as a tight end on Rivals and ESPN. However, he is an athlete on 247Sports.

More from Vols Football

There is an off-chance that Bell plays defensive end. That level of versatility alone makes the Alabama prospect, who committed back in May of 2020, an underrated prospect. Given how much is likely to change under Josh Heupel, he truly could play either position at this point, and his size may even open up something bigger like defensive tackle.

Size and athleticism is a big reason Bell is underrated. He stands at 6’7″ and weighs somewhere between 250 and 260 pounds, which is great size for a tight end or defensive end. Then there is his speed. Shannon J. Allen of The Sand Mountain Reporter, Albertville’s local newspaper, said in September of 2019 that he clocked in a 4.7 40-yard dash at a UAB Blazers camp.

Given that the 40-time was clocked in before his junior year, Bell may have even put on more speed. If you combine it with his size, he is already positioned to be an elite player, regardless of where Heupel decides to put him.
