Coming off the best win of the Kellie Harper era against the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Tennessee Lady Vols take the court again Sunday. In the process, Rocky Top will wrap up a four-game stretch against all top 25 teams, three of which were on the road.

Ranked No. 21 in both polls, UT travels to Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga. to take on the Georgia Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 22 in the AP Poll and No. 23 in the Coaches Poll. UGA is on a three-game winning streak and coming off an 82-64 win over the Missouri Tigers.

This is a rematch of a Jan. 14 showdown at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., which the Dawgs squaked by to win 67-66 in an upset. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup.

With the win over South Carolina Thursday, the Lady Vols ended a two-game losing streak, as they fell to other top 25 opponents in the Kentucky Wildcats and Texas A&M Aggies the week before. However, beating USC outweighs those since it’s a top five win and the other losses were on the road, so they weren’t held against Rocky Top that much.

If UT can win this game, it may be looking at a top 10 ranking when the polls are released Monday and Tuesday. It won’t be easy, though, as Georgia has hit its stride in its sixth year under head coach Joni Taylor.

Given the way UGA has played this year, Taylor may have the best team she’s ever had. The return of four of five starters, including both leading scorers, from last year’s team that went 17-14 and 7-9 in the SEC have been hugely beneficial.

After this game, the Tennessee Lady Vols will visit the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday before closing out the regular season against the Auburn Tigers in a week. Georgia will host the Kentucky Wildcats and visit the Florida Gators respectively on those same dates.
