Tennessee basketball preview vs. Florida: Live stream, game time, TV and radio info
After a week off, Tennessee basketball takes the court Sunday for its final regular season game of the year. It will be Senior Day for the Vols at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., and UT will honor both John Fulkerson and Yves Pons. Senior forward E.J. Anosike won’t go through the events since he will definitely return next year, although Fulkerson might too.
Heading to Rocky Top will be the Florida Gators, who beat Rick Barnes’ team 75-49 back on Jan. 19 in Gainesville, Fla. at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Obviously, the Vols will be looking to get revenge in this game, and the winner of this game will earn the No. 4 seed and a double-bye in the SEC Tournament later this week.
The Vols’ last outing was a 77-72 loss at the Auburn Tigers two Saturdays ago. Florida, meanwhile, is coming off a close 72-70 home loss to the Missouri Tigers from this past Wednesday. Here is all the information you need for Tennessee basketball’s matchup.

This will be the first game UT has played all year in which it is not ranked in either poll. Although they are likely a lock for the NCAA Tournament, there are major seeding implications that could come into play with this matchup.
Meanwhile, sixth-year head coach Mike White is trying to avoid his team falling to the bubble. They are likely in the tournament right now, but a loss in this game and then an early exit from the SEC Tournament later this week could make things questionable.
Florida has had an emotional season given what happened to their best player, Keyontae Johnson, back in December. From a basketball standpoint, losing him and replacing Kerry Blackshear from last season made things difficult, but Tre Mann, Colin Castleton, Tyree Appleby and Noah Locke have stepped up, as all four are averaging double figures.
Given how badly Florida dominated Tennessee basketball in their last matchup, the Vols should come into this game with plenty of motivation. The much-needed rest over the past week should be very beneficial for them as well. However, they can’t take this game lightly the way they have been other games in recent weeks.
