SEC Tournament: Tennessee basketball vs. Alabama live stream, game time, TV and radio info
Coming off a 78-66 win over the Florida Gators in which John Fulkerson was knocked out of the game and the rest of the tournament due to a shot to the head, Tennessee basketball moves onto the SEC Tournament semifinals. On Saturday, the Vols have their first game against a team other than Florida in two weeks.
UT, the No. 4 seed in the tournament, will take on the top-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide in Nashville, Tenn. at Bridgestone Arena. Ranked No. 6 in the AP Poll and No. 5 in the Coaches’ Poll, Alabama is coming off an impressive 85-48 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Including that MSU win, Alabama comes into the game on a four-game winning streak. Rocky Top has won two straight, both over Florida, and will be looking for revenge from a 71-63 loss to the Tide back on Jan. 2. Here is all the information you need for Tennessee basketball’s Saturday SEC Tournament matchup.

Obviously, with Fulkerson out for the rest of the tournament, Rick Barnes’ team could have even more trouble against the Tide. However, in their first loss, they lost Jaden Springer, their best backcourt scorer, five minutes into the game. Having him back will be huge.
Still, Alabama comes in red-hot under the leadership of SEC Coach of the Year Nate Oats and SEC Player of the Year Herbert Jones. Their dominance from Thursday makes them look unbeatable at the moment, although the Vols are a team that have the talent to beat anybody on any given day.
Since the last time these two teams met, the Vols parted ways with Jeremy Pruitt and Phillip Fulmer and hired athletic director Danny White, who in turn hired football coach Josh Heupel. That’s relevant because White was the guy who discovered Oats, hiring him for his first head coaching job with the Buffalo Bulls back in 2015.
The winner of this game will advance to the SEC Tournament championship to face the winner in the other semifinals matchup between the LSU Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks. That game is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. ET today, and the title game is set for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
