2.) Cincinnati Bengals
If you are an offensive lineman, you want to land with the Cincinnati Bengals. They are so desperate for help up front that you know you’ll get a serious look, and that’s no different for a versatile interior guard like Trey Smith.

Cincinnati’s proximity to Knoxville, Tenn. has to make the Bengals as a franchise familiar with Tennessee football players. Given that fact, they have to know how consistent and reliable Smith is, assuming his medical issues are under control. That could be enough for them to prioritize him, even if it’s not in the first round.
In fact, Cincy could take a lineman with each of its first two picks, so it could definitely get Smith with its second pick. The pass-blocking efficiency of Cincy doesn’t need to be broken down. Everybody saw how bad it was, and Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury was enough proof of that. However, their rushing attack was bad too, as they were 27th at just 4.1 yards per carry.
Simply put, the Bengals need a ton of help on the offensive line, and Smith could provide it. He would also be in a great position with a young team and a support system willing to be patient and grow with him. If it’s about playing and not winning, there’s a case that this is the best landing spot for the potential star.
