Come June 20, 5-star running back Savion Hiter is all set to take his official visit with Tennessee football and it's going to be a big one for him. However, do the Vols have some major catching up to do when it comes to Georgia?
Things might be looking that way. Previously, it was assumed that Michigan and Tennessee were the leaders among Hiter's finalists. However, Hiter took a recent OV to Georgia and that time in Athens could not have gone much better for him. So much in fact, insider Steve Wiltfong didn't hesitate in saying that Kirby Smart and Co. are now a 'contender' to land him. This is not good for the Vols:

Tennessee is hoping to land 5-star RB Savion Hiter after his visit this month
Yup, this is not what any Tennessee fans want to see. Hiter has been quite high on Tennessee for quite some time and multiple predictions have gone in for Heupel to earn his commitment. However, Georgia has now given him a lot to think about.
Hiter previously took an official visit to Ohio State on May 30 and he's all set to visit Michigan this upcoming weekend. Then come June 20, Hiter indeed will fly to Knoxville for his last of scheduled officials. It goes without saying, but there's pressure on Heupel to knock things out of the park there.
Hiter is an elite prospect. Per the 247Sports Composite, he's ranked five stars, the No. 1 running back in the country and the No. 17 player overall for his class. Whoever ends up landing this kid is going to be fired up for many different reasons.
It also helps that the No. 1 QB in the country is committed to the Vols in Faizon Brandon. This weekend, the No. 1 WR Tristen Keys will be taking his Tennessee OV. Can you imagine if all three end up signing with the Vols? It'd be a dream come true for the Vols, but UGA and Smart are looking to get in the way of that going down.
