Bill Belichick is about to steal a prized 4-star commit away from Tennessee

Remember when Tennessee football fans were celebrating the Vols landing 4-star athlete Joel Wyatt, which sent a message to Bill Belichick?Unfortunately, it looks like Billy B is about to get some revenge on the Vols in the form of a different prospect.

For what has felt like forever, 4-star Tennessee tight end commit Carson Sneed has been on 'flip watch' due to several schools continuing to go after him. The list included North Carolina. Now, things have been taken a step further, with recruiting insiders Chad Simmons and Sam Spiegelman both putting in predictions for the Tar Heels to flip the in-state product. This is not good:

UNC football is now predicted to flip 4-star Tennessee commit Carson Sneed

The 6-6, 250-pounder originally committed to Tennessee in early August of 2024, but let's be real here, he's been flirting with other programs ever since. The Tar Heels have been making him a priority of late, which now has them in the driver's seat to steal him away from the Vols.

It hasn't just been UNC that has been pushing for Sneed, however. He has been in close contact with Florida, Miami, Ole Miss and others. Unfortunately, with him continuing to leave the door open to commit elsewhere, it felt like a matter of time before he backed off his UT pledge and now UNC is ready to pounce.

Usually when predictions like this arrive, it doesn't take long before Hayes Fawcett turns things around and fires off a graphic on social media for everyone to enjoy. In this case, there are going to be countless people in Knoxville who won't be happy to see it.

Sneed is a stud for Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville. Keeping him in-state to play for Tennessee was massive for Heupel when he first committed, but that excitement didn't last long. Unless something changes at the last minute, all signs are pointing to Sneed being Chapel Hill-bound for his college career.
