We still have to wait more than five months for quarterback Faizon Brandon to make things official with the Tennessee football team, but goodness, he keeps on winning over the fanbase. On the field, he's going to be a superstar for this team.

Off the field, he continues to help out head man Josh Heupel when it comes to the program's recruiting efforts. Obviously, this includes the Vols trying to record one of the biggest flips for the 2026 cycle with wideout Tristen Keys.

Keys is a 5-star playmaker and he was in Knoxville earlier this month for what proved to be a head-turning official visit. In a new interview with 247's Tom Loy, Brandon didn't hesitate in saying he has made it a top priority to convince Keys that he should play for Tennessee at the next level and not suit up for LSU:

Keys is ranked the No. 1 wide receiver and Brandon is the top-ranked quarterback for '26. If they end up playing together at the next level, it's going to be a serious problem for SEC defenses across the board. This is what Heupel wants.

At the same time, it's also what Brandon is eyeing too. Both playmakers are two of the top prospects overall for 2026 and their respective futures could not be brighter. Keys surprised a lot of people when he committed to LSU a few months back and he has said that he remains committed.

However, Keys also recently said that his recruitment is not shut down and that he's getting ready to make his final decision sooner rather than later. Because of that, plenty of LSU fans are worried sick that he's going to end up flipping his decision.

Tennessee, Texas A&M and Miami are the main schools in contention to get Keys to change his mind. The Vols have plenty of things working in their favor, with the potential for Keys to play with Brandon for the next 3-4 years being a major selling point. Will that help Tennessee land the top WR in the country? That very well could end up being the case.
