Kirk Herbstreit just paid Tennessee fans the best compliment on College GameDay

The College GameDay crew is on hand in Columbus and things are rocking ahead of the thrilling showdown between the Tennessee Vols and Ohio State Buckeyes. This is easily going to be the best College Football Playoff showdown of the weekend.

What's making this tilt even better is the fact that loads and loads of Tennessee fans have traveled to Columbus and they're making their presence known. Things started with UT supporters taking over multiple bars in the city.

Those same fans and others made their way to the College GameDay set to scream their heads off to show support for Josh Heupel and his players. People are blown away with how incredible the traveling squad is for Tennessee. Even Kirk Herbstreit can't help but be impressed:

Love seeing that! There's an incredible amount of orange in town and this is something you already know that Nico Iamaleava and the rest of the playmakers on the team appreciate. Things are only going to be made better if the Vols post a victory.

'Neyland North' is going to be a problem for Ryan Day and his guys. Soon enough, we'll see if the Vols are going to come out on top and move on to the next round to face No. 1 Oregon over in Eugene. Leading up to kickoff, Tennessee fans sure are doing their part. What a fanbase.
