The Athens-to-Knoxville pipeline might be real. Tennessee just picked up freshman forward Zhen Craft from Georgia, and it looks like Kim Caldwell might be going back to that well again.
Kim Caldwell can silence the Lady Vols haters by landing these 4 commits this weekend
According to On3's Talia Goodman, Rylie Theuerkauf has just committed to the Lady Vols. The 5-foot-9 Georgia guard was an integral piece on the Bulldogs last year, averaging 11.9 points, 2 rebounds, 1.1 assists on 42.4% shooting from the field.

Rocky Top lands Georgia transfer guard Rylie Theuerkauf
Kim Caldwell still has more to build, but this is another win-now addition for Tennessee, and it's one that should make a real impact during the 2026–27 season. Theuerkauf is a veteran player who knows what it takes to play high-level women's basketball. She can help mentor the younger players Caldwell has while also instilling a win-now mentality in the team. Theuerkauf also adds a deep shooting threat, as she posted a 40.6% three-point percentage last season on nearly six attempts per game. She will fit right into Kim Caldwell's high-volume three-point approach.
I love the idea that Tennessee could be a top seed next year. Tennessee has a realistic path to earning a very good seed next season. While a No. 1 overall seed may be unlikely, the influx of talent makes a top four or five seed a reasonable expectation. The Lady Vols have got them a lot of scheme-fit players who will seemingly buy into Caldwell's basketball ideals.
Sure, I may be getting ahead of myself, but I like the additions that Caldwell has made. The only thing Tennessee is missing is that true wow piece. While they've made several strong commitments, Tennessee still hasn't landed an elite talent yet. There is still time for this to change, but it has to come sooner rather than later. Either way, after a horrible start to the offseason, I have to give Caldwell credit, as she has done a nice job repairing what has been torn down. The Lady Vols still have a ways to go, but it's been a nice start.
