While this past weekend featured a ton of positive news for the Tennessee football team, that doesn't mean that everything was all sunshine and rainbows. It flew a bit under-the-radar, but wide receiver Tyran Evans took an official visit to meet with Miami.

Mario Cristobal and his staff rolled out the red carpet for the Tennessee commit, surely giving him something to think about moving forward. While Evans remains locked in with the Vols and he hasn't opened up his recruitment, it's not a good sign that the speedster not only took the trip, but that he also had such a good time. Keep in mind that Miami is also working to flip fellow UT pledge Carson Sneed:

A 6-3, 185-pounder from Charlotte, Evans committed to the Vols back in January. He holds more than 20 offers to his name, with Tennessee, Miami, Kentucky, NC State, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and others on his list.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Evans is ranked three stars, the No. 83 WR in the country and the No. 500 prospect overall for the 2026 class. Head man Josh Heupel is quite high on his potential, which is why he's now going to be working to keep him on board.

Evans and Sneed both have strong interest in Miami and they're now certainly on 'flip watch' together. In some positive receiver news for Tennessee, 5-star playmaker Tristen Keys was on campus until Sunday and he clearly had an incredible time while in Knoxville.

The Vols are going to continue to go all-in to land him, as he's the No. 1 WR in the country and countless teams are working to get him to back off his LSU pledge. As for Evans, he's still Tennessee-bound for now, but things could end up changing there if Miami HC Mario Cristobal gets his way.
