Vols In Justin Martin’s Top Three Schools

2015 JuCo cornerback Justin Martin has the Tennessee Volunteers in his top three schools, according to Zach Abolverdi of the Gainesville Sun.

Martin is a three-star recruit from Nasvhille, TN (Overton) that attends junior college in Oklahoma. He was offered by the Vols on May 20.

247Sports rates Martin as the top JuCo player in Oklahoma and the third best JuCo cornerback in the nation.

9 of the 11 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions made for Martin have him committing to Tennessee.

The Vols could definitely use Martin in their secondary. As a JuCo player he would be able to contribute immediately upon his arrival.

Tennessee has made some vast improvements in their secondary since Butch Jones’ arrival, but it’s still not where it needs to be.

Specifically the Vols lack depth. They have a couple of playmakers at the position, but not much after that. At least not as far as known commodities go.

Martin is far from a known commodity, but he’s a player the Vols would gladly take.
