Top 10 Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball Players in Adidas Era

Tennessee Vols athletics will be switching to Nike July 1 after 20 years with Adidas. Meanwhile, the Lady Vols name is also expected to come to an end. For the week leading up to the switch, we are recapping the Adidas era. Here are the Top 10 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball players during that time.
The emotions are running high for this new era of Tennessee athletics in the women’s department. After all, in addition to the switch to Nike, the Lady Vols name will cease to exist outside of women’s basketball.

The transition to Nike represents a switch not only for a new era and a new brand, but it is just part of major changes in the athletic department the past few years anyway.
Pat Summitt leaving the women’s basketball program was enough of a change to represent a new era on its own, even if Holly Warlick has been with the program for what seems like forever.
Anyway, the Adidas era brought about the greatest success of Lady Vols basketball, including five national titles, a three-pear, a 39-0 season, and some of the greatest players to ever play women’s basketball.
But again, we are judging these players by what they did in college at Tennessee, not the WNBA or in the Olympics.
