Tennessee recruiting does not stop, as the Volunteers offered a scholarship to four-star defensive end Isaiah Chambers of Houston Wednesday night, Sept. 2.

The Tennessee Vols are not slowing down. After a great recruiting week as it already is, Butch Jones and his staff offered a scholarship to another four-star out of Houston Texas, Isaiah Chambers, according to 247 Sports.

Chambers is a Top 100 player on 247 and comes out of Macarthur High School. He is listening to offers from more than 30 schools right now, so the Vols have lots of competition if they want to pick him up.

Listed as a 6’4″ end in the 250s weight class, Chambers’s most likely schools at this point appear to be at home, with TCU being his top choice and Texas A&M being his second choice, per 247 Sports report. Baylor and Houston are next on the list.

But if he chose Tennessee, he would join an elite recruiting class.

The only reason he might not, and it is a good reason, is due to how deep the Vols already are there for the next three years at least. Chambers would have to hope to be part of a rotation.

He is a four-star on Rivals as well, and his addition would be the seventh four-star for the class of 2016.
