No.4 – Jauan Jennings will score two touchdowns

Jeremy Pruitt has told us all season long that wide receiver Jauan Jennings hasn’t been at full strength. Maybe, he was telling the truth. Maybe Tennessee actually has a football coach that tells the truth and just worries about football, not about manipulating fans.

More from All for Tennessee

In the first two games of the season, Jennings only had six receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown. All in all, those aren’t bad numbers but this past game against Auburn, Jennings crushed his early season production.

In the 30-24 win against the Tigers, Jennings had five receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown.

There is no question that Jennings is one of the leaders on the team and it seems like he lives for the big games. However, he hasn’t had much success against the Crimson Tide.

He didn’t play in 2017 due to his injury, and in 2006 he only had three receptions for 20 yards. But, there is some good news that leads to our bold prediction that Jennings will score two touchdowns.

Only once in his career has he had a two-score game, so predicting a two-score game against the number one team in the nation is bold. His last two-score game came back in 2016 with the Vols beat the Missouri Tigers 63-37.

Tennessee showed last week when they open up the playbook; they can be successful. Alabama likes to play a lot of one-on-one coverage from the corners. Our prediction is Guarantano and Jennings will rip them apart.
