Tennessee basketball 2010s all-decade team
Power forward
1. Grant Williams, 2016-2019
Nobody would debate this one. Grant Williams was Tennessee basketball’s best player of the 2010s in general. At 6’7″ 236 pounds, Rick Barnes’ development of Williams into a stretch-four over just three years was incredible.
In all three years, Williams averaged double-figures scoring. He finished his career averaging 15.7 points per game and six and a half rebounds. As a junior he also averaged over three assists. His versatility was incredible.
2. Jeronne Maymon, 2010-2014

A transfer from Marquette in 2009 to Bruce Pearl’s system, Jeronne Maymon was a 6’8″ 260-pound power forward who dominated inside. He emerged in 2011-2012, when Cuonzo Martin took over, averaging over 12 points and eight rebounds a game .
After missing the entire season in 2012-2013 due to injury, Maymon returned in 2013-2014 and saw a dip in production. However, he averaged double-figures down the stretch, a big reason for UT’s strong finish and Sweet 16 run. That’s why he makes the list.
3. Armani Moore, 2012-2016
More of a true stretch-four, Armani Moore could play the wing at 6’5″ 215 pounds. However, given the state of the roster, we have him playing the four on this list. Like Kevin Punter and Robert Hubbs III, Moore was stuck in a bad time when he emerged.
However, playing under Donnie Tyndall, Moore did average over 10 points and nearly seven rebounds a game. When Rick Barnes arrived, he averaged over 12 points and seven and a half rebounds a game. He’s a solid versatile four who would fit well in this depth chart.
