The Tennesse Vols have had a significant amount of momentum on the recruiting trail this week, as Josh Heupel has been scheduling visits and making the top lists for many of the nation's best prospects.

On Wednesday, Tennessee got some more good news on the recruiting front. According to Rivals, Tennessee has made the top-six for a Rosharon, Texas, four-star wide receiver, Alvin Mosley. The Vols will be competing with TCU, Ole Miss, Texas, SMU, and Houston. Mosley is ranked as the No. 164 player in the nation, the No. 26 wide receiver, and the No. 16 player in Texas in the class of 2027.

Alvin Mosley is down to just six schools including Tennessee

This is a major development for Tennessee. Mosley will have to schedule an official visit with the Vols and see Knoxville for himself this summer, but it might be hard to pry him away from many of trhe top schools in his home state of Texas.

Right now, Tennesse has two wideouts scheduled for an official visit. Texas Commit and top-30 player in the nation, Easton Royal, has a visit scheduled for the weekend of June 5. Four-star and top-100 prospect, IMG Academy's Osani Gayles, has a visit scheduled for the next weekend on June 12. Between Moisley, Royal, and Gayles, if Tennesse can land just one of them, they should be in great shape with TK Keys and Braylon Stayley on the roster already.

Right now, Tennessee has four commits in the 2027 class: Derrick Baker, JP Peace, Kadin Fife, and Princeton Uwaifo. Tennessee will look to add to this number as we inch towards the summer.
